Vocal Music
Great vocal writing, direction and production is just as specialist an area as orchestration. My vocal, choral and A Cappella arrangements have been performed on prestigious stages around the world from New York to Hong Kong, and even the Sydney Opera House. They’ve been featured on BBC One, BBC Two, Channel 4, BBC Radio 2 and in international feature films. From classical choirs to Beatbox-driven vocal bands, I know this area like the back of my larynx.
I was as an Arranger and Vocal Coach on BBC1’s Saturday night show Pitch Battle, and I am the Arranger and Music Supervisor of Olivier-nominated West End Musical The Choir of Man and previously Gobsmacked!, two critically acclaimed singing shows that have toured extensively around the globe. In 2022 I also arranged “Heart of Stone” from SIX to be performed as a surprise collaboration at West End Live.
In 2023 I produced the entirely a cappella music track for the Baileys Christmas advert, recording both the Gold Vocal Collective and Hannah Waddingham in my studio, and then mixing the finished recording for broadcast. In the same year I arranged and produced the Christmas with The Choir of Man, a 6-track holiday album of all new arrangements.
In 2016 I was commissioned by Nord Anglia Education to compose a ‘Virtual Choir’ piece for 43 schools in their Global Campus.

I have been immersed in the vocal music field for 12 years, since originally performing in the internationally acclaimed group The Sons of Pitches and performing with The Magnets. I have run numerous Vocal Percussion and Singing workshops and masterclasses for many ensembles in the country, and in 2016 gave a TEDx talk on exploring the human voice.
I have served as a judge of the ICCA semi-finals, the Scottish A Cappella Championships, and have produced two ICCA quarter-final competitions.
