I recently composed the music for this very cool new ad, created by Kindred Agency. The spot does not contain any voice over or dialogue, so it is driven by the score and sound design.
I love it, well done! Love the crescendo at the end, the reaction of the drone to the screen and the timing of the music kicking in.
Today sees the launch of our new “Drones” campaign for SsangYong Tivoli. The £1million multimedia campaign is led by a 30 second TV spot and supported by digital advertising, dealer press and radio. The aim of the campaign was to introduce the new SsangYong Tivoli SUV to the market and show off its great value offering.
The advert – which breaks on ITV at 9.15pm this evening – features a swarm of sleek, micro-sized, surveillance drones which are irresistibly drawn to the car. They proceed to glide around the bodywork before swooping in through the side-windows to take a closer look inside. Once inside, their scrutiny of the luxurious interior changes their mood. Their stealthy movements become more playful as they clearly enjoy the experience. This mind-set change – from detached curiosity to enthusiastic fan – dramatises the positive experience of those seeing the car for the first time.
The ad was directed by Aidan Gibbons and produced by the team at The Mill, creative thinking by John Merriman, Gary Knight and Vince Chasteauneuf
